Schools ask for a fascinating range of workshops based on the folk traditions of where we live, including broom dancing, maypole, morris and country dancing. We always use live music adding depth to the experience and we encourage creativity – we love to see folk tradition evolve in front of our eyes!
We are hub partners with Hampshire, Portsmouth and Southampton Music Hubs working closely with them developing larger school projects, such as ceilidhs where young musicians can play at their own level with professional folk musicians for dancers from different schools.
